Emily Schachtele
I enjoy working with people who are willing to approach therapy with curiosity and a desire to explore their true selves. My ideal client is ready to look inward, observe and challenge patterns, and reconnect with the essence of who they are. Many of us invest so much energy in external distractions that we lose sight of our core. Therapy offers a space to rediscover that inner being and address the root causes of suffering with openness and self-compassion.
For me, therapy is a sacred opportunity to be fully present with another person in a space of complete non-judgment and acceptance. Each session is unique and can include silence, laughter, movement, crying, meditation, writing, drawing, or music—whatever feels authentic and meaningful. I don’t see therapy as a teacher-student dynamic but as a partnership. My role is to act as a mirror, reflecting your inner wisdom and guiding you as you navigate this part of your journey. Success in therapy is deeply personal, but I see it in moments when clients recognize the roots of their suffering, develop compassion for themselves, and reconnect with their authentic selves, leading to greater harmony, purpose, and self-love.

Waking up in crisp sheets on a sunny, breezy morning with the windows open. Starting the morning with meditation & a cup of hot coffee, snuggling my Golden Retriever, and going on an outdoor adventure with my significant other. I would end the day with putting on some music, cooking a nourishing meal and some sort of relaxing drink by the fire!

This is a debate I have with myself often because I love all aspects of nature. However, I truly think there is something magical about the mountains.
