Emily Grawburg
I enjoy working with clients who seek to explore their overall well-being—mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical—in a holistic way. My ideal client is open to digging deep, uncovering root causes, and understands change isn't something that necessarily comes fast and easy but can be beautiful. I am particularly passionate about supporting those who have experienced trauma, including abuse, neglect, medical or illness-related trauma, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and more. Drawing on my training in integrative medicine and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, I incorporate mind-body approaches alongside evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to foster healing and connection.
For me, therapy is about creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can show up as their authentic selves—a space that often lacks in our society. I understand that trauma can be isolating and heavy, and I strive to provide a space where clients feel seen, heard, and validated as they navigate the complexities of the human experience. I also firmly believe in my client’s inherent strength and inner wisdom, and utilize loving accountability and constructive honesty to collaboratively work through the challenging, yet rewarding, process of change and growth. Whether through structured/talk-based interventions or creative, body-based modalities like yoga and meditation, I aim to make therapy a flexible and empowering process. Seeing clients have those “light bulb” moments of insight and growth is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
