Might be a shocker here, but I genuinely love people. Everyone has a story to tell and everyone has something that they can teach others. I feel so lucky that I'm in a profession where I get to learn from others every day!

Often, we might tell ourselves that our problems or our thoughts can never be shared or else they will scare people away. I want everyone to know that there is never a problem that is too big or too small. You will always have a safe space here that is full of empathy and completely free from judgement or shame.

My favorite thing about therapy is that it can be both responsive and preventative. Similar to seeing your doctor, going to therapy can help when we have a presenting problem that we need help with. However, we can also go to therapy for check-ups just to make sure we're doing alright! Therapy can be a fantastic way for us to measure how we are doing in multiple areas of our life and find ways to improve our overall quality of life.

Success looks different for everyone. Whether life-altering change is created or we create one small change in habit to improve our quality of life, all of that constitutes success. Even if you hate it, if you at least give it a shot, you were successful in finding out therapy wasn't for you!
