  • My ideal client is someone who is open-minded, motivated, and ready to engage in self-exploration and personal growth. I enjoy working with adults who are navigating current life stressors while also healing from past trauma. I am passionate about working with folks who desire to increase their resilience, heal their inner child, improve communication skills, and explore new paths. Bonus points for anyone with a great sense of humor :)

  • I like being a therapist because I like working with people and am honored to be a part of their journey. It is rewarding to be able to witness clients make progress, overcome obstacles, and achieve greater well-being. Attending therapy has made such a positive impact in my life; I am happy to be able to be on the "other side" helping clients benefit from therapy in a similar way to what I have experienced.

  • I wish people knew that therapy doesn't always involve sitting on a couch crying and talking about sad stuff. Although we will do challenging (and rewarding) work towards healing in each session, we also spend a decent amount of time laughing, celebrating progress, or just making space for peace and relaxation.

  • Therapy provides a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. It allows people to feel heard, supported, understood, and validated. It encourages individuals to set goals, explore their values, identify strengths and work towards self-improvement.

  • Success in therapy is when clients have a better understanding of how their past is influencing their present. It's when folks heal from trauma, feel safe and secure in their body, and feel confident that they can move forward to build the life they have always dreamed of.

  • I like to integrate inner child work, meditation, and/or EMDR into sessions; however, I'm a super laid-back person! Sessions can be whatever a client needs them to be - I'm always down to listen to a rant about the latest drama in your life or make space for a good cry.

Describe your perfect Sunday (or rainy day)
My perfect Sunday, rainy day, (or really any day) is when I get to be a couch potato with my husband and my dog while we binge Law and Order, The Office, or football games!

What is your favorite place?
The Plymouth Library. I grew up going there and I never get sick of it!

If you weren’t a mental health professional, what would you be doing?
I would be a stay-at-home dog mom or a librarian.

Favorite quote?
"Make peace with your pain and never lose your flames" - I have a tattoo of this on my arm :)

What is your go-to “feel good” song?
"I Am" by Flo Milli
