  • My ideal client is someone who is ready to turn inward, dig deep, and discover what's standing in the way of living their best life. I also enjoy working with clients who are ready to step into their power and/or reclaim the power they’ve lost navigating life’s challenges. Life is messy and getting through the hardest parts can come at a cost, so it feels really satisfying to work with clients who are ready to focus more energy inward and recover what may have been lost along the way.

  • I love helping clients find the courage to live their truth and lead happier, healthier, and higher functioning lives. Choosing to live authentically has the power to transform our lives in deeply meaningful ways and it's a privilege to support clients who are ready to embark on this journey.

Additionally, I enjoy being a part of the “ripple effect.” When clients are ready to put change in motion, it not only impacts their own lived experience but also the lived experience of those around them. One person’s healing and growth can create a “ripple” of influence that expands beyond themselves and that feels really special to be a part of.

  • I wish people knew that the impact of therapy is dependent on the investment made by the client. Change is a process and it requires a fair amount of patience. Therapy is NOT magic but the change that often comes from therapy can FEEL magical if you’re willing to put in the work.

I think it’s also essential for clients to understand the importance of using their voice to advocate for needs and preferences in therapy. My approach is very collaborative, so I empower clients to let me know if they’re feeling heard, what’s working or not working, and if they feel their needs and goals are getting the focus needed to make change possible. The more that clients can share about how they’re responding to the work we’re doing together, the more effective I can be in helping them move closer to their goals.

  • How often in your life does everything get to be about you and for you? Everyone who says “yes” to therapy receives this gift. The benefits come not only from having a nonjudgemental space to focus on yourself, but also from having a person in your life who believes in you and is committed to walking life’s path with you while you work toward meaningful change.

  • Showing up and being present is a powerful first step and one that demands a fair amount of courage. From there, success in therapy is going to look different for everyone. In early stages success often looks like curiosity, openness, and a willingness to try new things. After some time, progress can manifest as increased energy, improved quality of life, values-alignment and increased sense of meaning and purpose, symptom reduction, increased distress tolerance or decreased reactivity, more effective coping, improved boundaries, strengthened relationships and so much more.

  • I bring a high degree of authenticity and warmth to my work with clients. I place an emphasis on nurturing deep and connected therapeutic relationships and believe that this is the core from which all progress grows. By integrating a sense of humor, radical honesty and compassion, I strive to create an experience that makes you feel seen, heard and genuinely cared for. I will challenge you thoughtfully and empower you to show up for yourself in ways that promote healing and growth.
