Ariana Wakeman
I believe that most people can benefit from therapy at some point in their lives. My ideal client understands that growth often requires shifts in perspective or lifestyle, even if those changes aren't immediately clear. I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, particularly new parents, folks experiencing pregnancy and childbirth, and older adults, as well as clients facing transitions such as changes in education, career, location, or evolving relationships. With a focus on addressing anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, I aim to help clients move toward greater balance and fulfillment. My approach is both gentle and firm, honoring clients as the experts of their own lives while offering insight, hope, and guidance grounded in my professional expertise and personal experiences.
As a therapist, I see my role as a guide and witness to my clients' healing and growth. I integrate somatic practices and holistic approaches into our work, drawing on my certification as a yoga instructor (including perinatal yoga) to connect the mind, body, and spirit. Therapy can be deep and challenging, but I also believe it can be fun and a truly gratifying experience. By creating a safe, supportive environment, I encourage my clients to explore themselves fully and redefine what success means for them. Whether it’s reducing symptoms, fostering internal shifts, or making tangible lifestyle changes, I am here to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward self-discovery and empowerment.
