I love working with clients who are willing to engage, explore, and get in the trenches using a holistic approach of mind, body, spirit as well as their social environment. I appreciate curiosity and an openness to trying out methods that may be new to you.
-
I feel it is an honor and privilege to accompany others on their journey. I enjoy creating a sacred, safe space where clients can put down the weight they've been carrying and begin to unpack the barriers keeping them from where and how they want to "be" in the world. To witness clients feeling empowered through struggle is truly rewarding. There are many "aha" moments for both of us.
-
Therapy is more than a reaction to illness. It is active engagement in wellness and prevention. It is a life long learning process that we can engage in just like going to the doctor's office for an acute problem or maintenance of our health. We can find our way in and out of therapy through the many phases in our lives.
-
Therapy helps to identify and peel away what no longer serves us. Through therapy we can create a roadmap leading to our goals and develop tools to accompany us on our journey. We don't have to do this alone!
-
Success in therapy can look like "coming home," reconnecting with the authentic self and the environment. You may find yourself moving through life with more ease as you practice and incorporate what you learn.
-
I believe wholeheartedly in the therapeutic alliance and act as a partner and a guide in our work together. I work with many different modalities, aligning the unique characteristics of my clients with the approach that fits them best.
