I work best with folx who are experiencing transition in their lives. Whether that is a gender transition, a general life transition, or a transition into knowing themselves and their own history more deeply. I love getting curious with clients about themselves and where their patterns of shame or self-doubt truly are rooted. I have specialized experience in working with humans who identify as LGTBQ+, kinky, or who are polyamorous/non-monogamous.
Additionally, I specialize in trauma focused somatic work. I believe that bringing attention to the body, and celebrating its unique qualities, can help people expand their awareness and ability to process, while encouraging creativity and connection. Working from a body-based trauma focused perspective allows clients to access traumatic memories, attachment issues, and limiting beliefs in a way that can create long lasting change and well-being.

One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is being introduced to people I might have never met otherwise, and learning new things about the world through their lived experiences. I love helping people find their own truth and their own path in life. And I deeply enjoy finding the creativity in meeting each client where they need to be met.
-
Therapy doesn’t always have to be intensely serious! Building trust with clients is integral to people feeling safe enough to open up and do the deeper work together. But therapeutic burnout is real, and I want to know that you’re willing to be human together!
-
To be a human is to be messy and imperfect. Spending an hour a week checking in with the mess, sitting with the raw parts, and getting curious about ourselves is invaluable.
-
I love working with clients who have felt marginalized by societal norms, their families, or their communities. Helping these folx find their way in a world not currently built for them and teaching them to attune to their own internal compass and sense of self is incredibly rewarding. I am also Level II trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which is a fancy way of saying I have a lot of tools to help you get to know your body and how it has been impacted by your traumatic history.
